Spaniards hoping to snare Spurs starlet in the New Year

Dos Santos: Keen to move on

Deportivo La Coruna are still hoping to tie up a deal for Tottenham playmaker Giovani dos Santos.
The Spanish outfit have been tracking the Mexican since the start of the season, but have been forced to bide their time in their efforts to lure him back to Spain.
Dos Santos shot to prominence after graduating through the academy ranks at Barcelona, but opted to join Spurs in 2008 in an effort to find regular first-team football.
Unfortunately his time in England has been largely disappointing, with injuries and a lack of opportunities curtailing his progress.
He is believed to be keen on a move elsewhere, with Spain regarded as his preferred destination.
Deportivo lead the hunt for his services and they are keen to reach an agreement during the January transfer window.
"The market has not moved yet, we'll wait and see what happens," said Depor boss Miguel Angel Lotina.
